Theoretical framework: Sustainability
In 2015, countries adopted the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals. In 2016, the Paris Agreement on climate change entered into force, addressing the need to limit the rise of global temperatures.
Governments, businesses and civil society together with the United Nations are mobilizing efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Agenda by 2030. Universal, inclusive and indivisible, the Agenda calls for action by all countries to improve the lives of people everywhere.
From our school and through our vegetable garden project, we assume the compromise to collaborate by following some of the goals proposed. We truly believe it's important to contribute to garatee sustainability on Earth, and that all the students take counciousness about how important it is for their own future.
We have created a table that cointains sustainable development goals proposed by the United Nations that we can achieve working in our project, the specific goals we have developed, and the measures adopted or in process of development in our project.
