Nowadays we are provided with a great amount of apps that can be very useful to help us to grow our vegetable garden and guarantee an efficient running of it.
We have done a research about apps related to vegetable gardens, and there is one that looks quite complete. It’s called iHuerting: it is free and it can be donwloaded in any mobile device (tablet, mobile phone, computer…). You only need Internet connexion to use it. It is suitable both for Android and for Mac.
This App provides a detailed explanation about how to create a vegetable garden starting from scratch. It gives us a lot of advices about how to take care of the plants as, for example, how much water do they need, how long they have to be exposed to the sunlight, if they are plants of interior or exterior, how can we grow a vegetable garden at home… It also tells us about how to prevent and control weeds and pests… It even has an alarm system to remember us when we have to water the plants!
Elsewhere, it shows us rare plants from all over the world, the most exotic ones, the most expensive ones…It also shows us a wide range of ornamental plants to decorate our home and it tells us about the properties of medicinal plants. All of that, it is illustrated with plenty of photos and videos.
It also tells us how to cook some of the plants that we have grown, and there are plenty of recipes.
Finally, there is a section where you can send your comments and share them with other users. You have also the opportunity to contact with the responsibles so as to ask them for more information about the app.
